Year End Award Program

Members showing can choose to nominate horses for the Y.E.A.P Program. All Amateur and Youth classes accumulate points on an exhibitor/horse combination and the points for the Open classes are accumulated on the horse only.

Funding for the Year End Award Program comes from several areas such as; sponsorships, nomination fees, fund raisers, raffles, and club support. A nomination fee is the only monetary requirement though, your efforts to help with fund raisers and obtaining sponsors is greatly appreciated.

An Awards Ceremony is generally held each November to recognize our YEAP Members' hard work and present each with their winnings. We also take time appreciate each SMLEC Youth Members who participated at any SMLEC show. The Ceremony is accompanied with a banquet, general membership meeting, and a fun auction of items donated by our members for our SMLEC Youth fund!
